Cool Cubes require little effort after being used. In order to kill the bacteria and to prevent the build up of residue you should wash them with dish washer and then rinse them with warm water. It is not recommended to put them in the dish washer, as the cleaning soaps and chemicals might sink into the pores of the cubes.

How can you remove any unwanted flavour?

In order to remove any absorbed flavours, soak the Cool Cubes in a glass filled half with warm water and a quarter with vodka. Be sure the cubes are covered by at least a couple of inches, so that there’s plenty of volume to absorb flavours and stir the contents of the glass occasionally during several hours.

How to maintain and store them?

It is important to dry the Cool Cubes very well before you put them again in the freezer, so you can prevent their bonding or absorption of the freezer flavours. Wipe them with a paper towel and let them dry thoroughly on a clean towel.

Insert the clean cubes into their bag, put them back in the freezer and enjoy a fresh drink!
